Lifelong Learning
To support you with all the relevant pieces to complete your career picture, the CIP Society brings you:

• PROedge Seminars – providing cutting-edge, advanced-level learning on the leading industry and regulatory issues.
• Continuing Professional Development – encouraging you to hone your professional skills and keep them sharp through the on-line tool that enables you to track your professional development activities for two years in pursuit of a 100-point target and gain recognition as an ‘Alumni Achiever’ for your ongoing accomplishments.
• Skills Shop On-line – offering opportunities to polish your soft skills through these professional and personal courses that you can take at your convenience.
• Rhind Scholarship Program – providing scholarships to members who wish to pursue their FCIP or insurance-related education, but lack the financial support.

Recognition and Promotion of the FCIP and CIP Designations
The Society is committed to building awareness of the designations among industry stakeholders, including employers, as well as the insurance-buying public. We are working to establish the credibility of the designations through national and local consumer advertising campaigns.

Information Services
To keep you in the know, the Society provides:

• CIP e-News – this on-line news service arrives in your inbox daily in English and weekly in French.
• Resource Links – the Society’s members-only web site is always evolving to be an invaluable source for current text books, research, legal updates, trends and industry issues.
• Web site and quarterly newsletter bring you the latest news and information about the Society’s programs and services.

Networking Opportunities
Local Institute/Chapter seminars and events offer opportunities to stay connected. Our on-line “Find a Member” directory helps you locate other CIP Society graduates. And the availability of an affiliate membership with our American counterpart the Chartered Property and Casualty Underwriter Society (CPCU Society) can net you access to a greater network.

Member Savings Program
This on-line value-added program enables members to take advantage of savings on brand-name products and services that you use every day. New opportunities added regularly.
