Membership Fees

CIP Membership
Membership in the CIP Society is for CIP and FCIP graduates. Upon graduating and being elected as a Chartered Insurance Professional you automatically become part of the CIP Society. The first year of membership is extended to all new CIP graduates free of charge. As with all other association-based designations, those not part of the CIP Society are not eligible to use their professional designation. 

Local Institutes
You must join the local Insurance Institute in your area to become a member of the CIP Society. Please click here to see a listing of our Institutes and Chapters.

Member Fees
The membership year is June 1^st to May 31^st ; dues are $100 (taxes included) in addition to the local institute fee.

Renewing your CIP Society membership
In April we issue membership renewal billing to companies who pay for their employees to be members of the CIP Society.
In May, the CIP Society issues renewal billing to individuals who are not under bulk billing.
