About the Fellowship Program

As a Chartered Insurance Professional (CIP), you have already demonstrated commitment to your professional development through completion of the CIP program. A Fellow Chartered Insurance Professional takes this commitment to a higher level through a 10 credit  university program.

FCIP courses are offered at participating Canadian universities that can be found in the Equivalency Chart of the Fellowship syllabus. Participants must choose from one of the five majors: Management, Risk Management, Claims, Underwriting and Broker.

Fellowship students can apply their courses towards an undergraduate or graduate business degree, while completing their Fellowship program. Please consult with your local university to determine entrance requirements.

To order a syllabus or if you have any questions about the Fellowship program, please contact Nancy MacGillivray at 416-362-8586 ext. 2225 or nmacgill@insuranceinstitute.ca
